Of late we have seen a shift in consumer behavior when it comes to beauty products. Considering the harm that chemical-laden products do to our skin, many of us are now switching to products that are natural and made with ethical methods. Pure, organic, and natural products are trending these days as they are harmless ways to rejuvenate the skin. But with so many “natural” skincare products ruling the market, it becomes very difficult to zero in on a product that suits your skin.
Let me share with you a brand that I have personally tried and tested for a month and found the products quite good. The brand is Deyga and here’s my honest review of their two face care products.
- Orange-Almond Face Pack: I love my facial sessions at the salons but due to the current situation, I miss getting pampered by professional hands. Though not an elaborate one, but nowadays, at home, I manage to give myself a DIY facial using natural products.
Once I am done with cleaning and exfoliating, I use Deyga’s orange -almond face pack to revitalize my skin.
I have 2 annoying skin conditions; first, the problem of acne, which once gone leaves some marks on the skin. Secondly, the skin gets tanned very quickly, especially when I go for a swim during summers. This face pack improves the appearance of blemishes and helps treat my tan instantly.

Packaging: The product is packed in an attractive glass jar with a lid and the net wt. is 200ML. Since it’s a glass jar it is shipped in a cylindrical cardboard shape packaging the product is made in Tamilnadu, India.
Ingredients: Almond meal, Sundried pulp, zest of Orange, Turmeric root, and Skin cherishing essential oils.
Texture and fragrance: The mask is somewhat granular in texture with light orangish color. It has a mild fragrance; a cross between orange and almond.
What the brand claims: “The goodness of oranges and almonds helps diminish pigmentation and is an exquisite anti-tan remedy. These natural ingredients help enhance skin texture and provide a healthy, natural glow. The antioxidant content present in almond is very essential for skin elasticity. They help rejuvenate your skin and keep it fresh.”
My experience: I mixed this face pack with a little Deyga basil facial toner and made it into a paste-like consistency. You can add little milk or curd too. I then applied a layer of the mask on the face and left it for 10 minutes. Once it got dried up, I washed it off with a gentle massage.
The product does the job as claimed. After using it only once, I noticed the difference it makes to my facial skin- it was glowing. The skin doesn’t feel dried up too, make be because of the presence of essential oils in it.
My final take: This works as claimed!!
Will I buy it again: Of course !!. In fact, I am planning to explore other products too in the face care range.
- Deyga Basil Facial Toner:
One of the most overlooked steps in the facial regime is adding a spritz of toner on the face after the application of a face mask.
A good toner soothes irritated skin, maintains skin PH balance, and helps your skin to better absorb the moisturizer and serums.
I use Deyga basil facial toner after I apply the face pack and here’s my mini-review of the same.
Packaging: The product comes in 100ml/ 3.8 fl oz plastic spray bottle. It is priced at 400/-
Ingredients: 100% pure steam distilled Basil water. Alcohol-free.
Fragrance: You can smell pure Basil the moment to spray it on your face.
What the brand claims: “Basil Toner is great for removing impurities that clog pores. The toner minimizes the appearance of pores and leaves the skin feeling clean, healthy, and refreshed.”
My experience: I use this toner in 3 different ways: In my face pack to dilute it, Spray on the face after washing off the face pack to hydrate and refresh the skin, and also as a quick clean up- spray on a cotton pad and gently wipe off the dirt. The toner never caused breakout or skin irritation on application.
My Final Take: This cooling toner is a must-have product in summers.
