7 suggestions for staying safe at COVID-19 festive shopping

Adopt all safety measures: Though the covid cases are slowly declining, we can’t let our guards down. Wearing a mask, frequent handwash, and using hand sanitisers are just a few of the steps you should take to keep yourself and your beloved ones safe. Also, be sure that you are not close to anyone while  shopping or in the billing queue

Go digital– It’s been around 2 years that the world has become digital mostly. So while you are enjoying visiting malls and shopping to your heart’s content don’t forget to use the digital mode of payments. Avoid cash transactions and use digital payments to avoid contact with currency.

Care in Changing rooms– While the malls are taking care of hygiene and cleanliness it’s better to avoid changing rooms. Check on your size in advance and pick brands that you are sure off. Buy from known brands that fit you well to avoid visiting changing rooms. And if in case you have to, then carry disinfectant sprays to first disinfect the touchpoints in the changing room.

Grocery shopping– Create a list beforehand of the items needed to make the trip to the grocery store short. Pick packed vegetables to avoid them being touched a lot. Avoid loose vegetables and carry your own bags for better safety. Also be sure to wipe the cart handle before you use it for shopping.

Eat outs– The bustling restaurant might look appealing but it’s better to avoid eating in closed spaces. Choose an open patio or open restaurants with better ventilation and fewer people. Ensure and maintain distance as well.

Choose low traffic time: To avoid the rush, go shopping early or late. Though during the festive season, this rule is a little difficult to follow, so it’s prudent to follow all safety protocols.
