The website has an easy to browse interface. There are five types of men and women shoes to choose from – High-angle sneakers, Classic slip-on sneakers, Classic lace-on sneakers, Toesmith mules, and Toesmith sliders.

Under the category “Browse collection” you can select a readymade pair of shoe from the extensive choice available. The outer fabric of the shoes is designed on the theme like – mismatched, travel, doodle, nature, dance, music, festive, holiday, minimal and many more.

You can buy the ready-made options (these can be edited too!!) or head to the category “Customize”, a feature that is their USP since nowhere in India you can get custom shoes as per your liking.

How to Design Your Own Custom Shoes?

At Toesmith, one can customize 5 five facets of a shoe- Vamp – the front part of the shoe, Quarters- sides of the shoe, Heel counter- the backside, Binding – the inner part, and the collar Lining.

Once you zero in on the preferred shoe type, say High Ankle, you click on the option “Customize” which takes you to the website’s virtual design studio where you can play with the tools that help you customize from an array of textures, colours, designs and swatches. You can tweak a part of the shoe or the entire look according to your liking. 

One can choose from the materials offered or upload their designs too from the laptop/gallery. To personalize it, even more, you can also add text on the shoe in varying fonts and colours.

After you finish the customization, Toesmith prints the design and delivers the shoe’s unique pair to your place.

Ready-made options galore:

If you think customisation is too tedious a work to do, fret not.  As mentioned above too, Toesmith has great ready-made options. These are all designed by some talented designer who has left no stone unturned to unleash their intricate creativity on the canvas of the shoe.

The kicks are made of lightweight elastomeric polymer, have memory foam insole to provide extra comfort to the feet and the fabric used is washable and of high quality for rough and tough use.

Right from the order confirmation to printing, cutting, stitching, moulding and shipping of the customized shoes, Toesmith kept me updated on each step of shoemaking via emails.
