I tried the products and here’s my brief review on each.
- Body Polish: This gel-based soft body polish is infused with orange peel oil ( a great anti-ageing ingredient), glycerine ( keeps skin hydrated), aloe Vera extracts ( natural healer and moisturiser), and natural microbeads that exfoliate the body gently and leave it pleasant smelling once you rinse it off. The product is paraben/ sulphate-free and is not tested on animals.
- Sugar Body Scrub: This gentle exfoliator scrub does the job well to remove dead skin from the body. Besides Sucrose, it is enriched with Oatmeal extracts and Argan oil. The latter is known to slow the process of ageing and Oatmeal has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. The scrub comes in an attractive 100gm tub and you need to apply just a small amount onto damp skin with light massaging movements.
- Bath and Shower gel: The shower gel comes in a 300ml transparent bottle and is infused with essential oils, along with extracts of orange and Aloe Vera. The gel feels extremely gentle on the skin and the citrusy fragrance keeps the mind and body refreshed all day long. A small amount of this soap-free shower gel on the loofah lathers up nicely and cleanses the body effectively without stripping the skin off its natural oils.
- Hand and body lotion: The orange-smelling lotion is enriched with the goodness of Shea butter and hyaluronic acid. Shea butter keeps the skin soft and is known to have healing properties. Hyaluronic acid too keeps the skin moisturised and has anti-wrinkle properties. The lotion absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any sticky feeling on the skin. The product comes in a 125 ml tube with attractive orange coloured packaging.
To brighten up the festival, I also bought Bryan & Candy aromatic scented candles for my home. The 100% natural soy wax candles come in a beautifully printed reusable tin container with three cotton wicks spread out evenly on the wax. The burning time of the candle is almost 28 hours. The candle fills the room with a pleasant aroma, creating a peaceful ambience all around. Be it Diwali or any other occasion or festival, this aromatic candle makes a nice gift too.
